BREATHE: an open call, a show and an auction
BREATHE was an open call and exhibition by Artivive and ArteQ, curated by Caroline Messensee and shown at Desiderio Gallery in Vienna in 2021. Artists worldwide submitted work on breathing and staying centred through the pandemic, and the winning pieces were exhibited and auctioned with their AR layer and an NFT attached. Visitors walked the gallery with a phone and saw each painting move, the physical piece and its digital twin in the same room.
