Kaia: an augmented reality mural in Bogotá
Power of Priya, Bogotá
Kaia is a mural at carrera 7 con 49 in Bogota, painted by Estraditado, Melanconnie and Faebian Ceruleo with Natalia Ponce de Leon, who survived a chemical attack and became one of Colombia's best known campaigners against acid violence. The AR layer turns the painted portrait into her story of moving from victim to heroine, told on the street where she is depicted. Photo and video by Carlos Torres Tabares for Power of Priya.
