Vangardist's New Man issue launches with moving pages

Vangardist Magazine

Vangardist launched the "New Man" issue of its magazine at Klyo, in Vienna's Urania building, on 14 September 2017 during fashion week. Black-and-white fashion portraits were mounted along the wood-panelled walls and guests pointed phones at them, and at the printed magazine itself, to see the images move. Artists Litto, Dimitrios Vellis and Markus C. Ender made the augmented layers that run over the printed pages.

Outcome: The issue launched on 14 September 2017 at Klyo in the Urania building in Vienna, during Vienna fashion week.

How a case like this gets made
  1. Pick what people will point their phone at: a painting, poster, pack, page or wall.
  2. Add the digital layer in the Artivive editor. Video, image, 3D model, sound. No code.
  3. Publish. Visitors open it in the free app or through a WebAR link, and enterprise campaigns run fully white label, under your own brand.
