The Notebook for Change goes up the MAK wall
MAK - Austrian Museum of Applied Arts / Contemporary Art
The Notebook for Change came out of CityFactory 2018, a research project run jointly by the MAK in Vienna, the Vienna Business Agency and the Institute of Design Research Vienna. The Vienna graphic design team LWZ set it in hard black and white, and the same pages were enlarged and hung in a long row along the museum wall. A visitor walks the row with a phone and each flat block of type and pattern starts to move.
Outcome: The book was presented at the MAK FORUM on 27 November 2018 as part of CityFactory 2018 and sold through the MAK Design Shop for EUR 10.
