Painted portraits that dissolve into ink
Maria Chalela-Puccini
Painter and film-maker Maria Chalela-Puccini, who works between Colombia and Austria, showed a set of framed paintings at iCEE.fest in Bucharest in June 2017. The works sat on simple easels in a dark, carpeted hall alongside the festival's tech stands. Point a phone at a portrait and the painted surface comes apart into the drawing underneath.
Outcome: The works were shown at iCEE.fest, the Bucharest digital industry festival held on 15 and 16 June 2017.
