Butterflies over the canvas: Sergio Gomez
In a white gallery space, a visitor raises a phone to a Sergio Gomez painting: a profile in silver and moss green, crowned with black butterflies. Scanned, the butterflies lift off the canvas one by one, a monarch flutters into the room and paint runs down the face while the physical painting never changes. The quiet kind of AR: nothing shouts, the picture just breathes.
