A hotel wallpaper with seven hidden animations
Artist Christopher Jeauhn Bayne designed a wallpaper for the restaurant of the Flemings Selection Hotel in Vienna, 6.5 metres wide and 2.5 metres high, drawn from his Botanical Series and his roots in Cape Town. Seven trigger points hide different animations: animals walking towards the breakfast area to guide guests, historical figures and the hand from the Sistine Chapel pointing the way. He designed the cushions and chairs to match, and the flamingos are a joke about the hotel's name.
