Timisoara postcards for a Capital of Culture

Timisoara 2023, European Capital of Culture

Timisoara was European Capital of Culture in 2023, and Romanian illustrator Dan Ungureanu drew the city's architecture for a set of postcards and posters. International animators added the AR layer, so the drawn facades move when a visitor scans the card: the building on the paper and the building across the street, in the same frame. A souvenir that carries the city's story home rather than a photograph of it.

How a case like this gets made
  1. Pick what people will point their phone at: a painting, poster, pack, page or wall.
  2. Add the digital layer in the Artivive editor. Video, image, 3D model, sound. No code.
  3. Publish. Visitors open it in the free app or through a WebAR link, and enterprise campaigns run fully white label, under your own brand.
